Itinerary
DAY 1 : Enter Chongqing(D)
Our guide will pick you up at Chongqing airport. Visit the Three Gorges Museum and People's Great Hall if time permits. After dinner, your memorable Yangtze River tour begins as you board the deluxe 5 star Dragon or Emperor
Early in the morning, the ship enters Qutang Gorge, the shortest and grandest of the Three Gorges.
After breakfast at 8:30, pass the Wu Gorge with its twelve lofty and misty gorges. The river guide will talk about the poetic gorges on the Sundeck.
Around 10:30, disembark at Badong for a sampan tour to Shennong Stream, a newly opened unspoiled river with verdant plants, ancient coffins and precious animals. The striking scene of "Tracking through the Rapids" is most impressive. Trackers begin their heavy work of making tons of cypress by going up a fierce riverway. Get ashore and have lunch on the cruise ship.
Around 15:00, pass Xiling Gorge.
At 18:30, and the five-star ship locks at the Three Gorges Dam .
Disembark at Sandouping for an excursion to the ne Three Gorges Dam. Pack your bags and complete check-out procedures before the ship arrives in Yichang. Our guide will meet you on board. See off at the airport/train station.
